Strongracks Disclaimer

Strong Racks produces one of the most robust systems in our industry today. While they are the sturdiest in the industry, they are not intended to be used as anything other than a storage device for general house hold items.

The Strong Racks System’s are not intended for commercial products, moving products or unstable products.

DO NOT STAND, HANG OFF or PULL ON a Strong Racks System. When loading, take care to not press your ladder or your body on the system. Do not reach inside the system, causing your load or weight to shift off your ladder. You can fall off your ladder and cause injury to yourself and items. Make sure to weigh all items prior to loading. All loads must be evenly distributed across the entire system Below is the loading examples

4’ x 8’ Ceiling / Wall Racks

1000 LB Total Capacity = 4 Ceiling Trusses in the front, 2 wall studs on the wall side. The total load must be evenly distributed and total weight per square foot should NOT EXCEED 31.25 Pounds Per Square Foot

750 LB Total Capacity = 4 Ceiling Trusses in the front and rear of the system. The total load must be evenly distributed and total weight per square foot should NOT EXCEED 23.44 Pounds Per Square Foot

600 LB Total Capacity = 4 Ceiling Trusses in the front and rear of the system. The total load must be evenly distributed and total weight per square foot should NOT EXCEED 18.75 Pounds Per Square Foot

Weight capacities are only intended to provide stability and guidance for our system. The weight capacities are not intended to be a guide on your home’s construction. You must verify with your builder or structural engineer what your stud / truss system is capable of supporting. If there are any questions about your homes support system, downgrading loading weight is recommended.  Strong Racks or it’s affiliates will not warranty any installations performed by independent dealers or home owners. We suggest your hire a qualified, licensed and insured installer to install a Strong Racks. The load limits of a Strong Rack are heavy and can kill you. Take care to properly load or someone can be hurt.
